Counselling & Employment Cell

At the beginning of the Academic Session, the newly admitted students attend a counselling session organised by the Cell. The teachers explain various aspects of the stream under which they have been admitted. The selection of optional subjects as per the preference of the students is carried out and the scope of these subjects is also explained to them by the faculty members. The students avail this opportunity to be clarified about the doubts they have regarding the academic career they would pursue in the college.

The Cell also undertakes various  programmes on the employment opportunities existing for the students after completion of their courses. The objective is to enhance the employability of the students by increasing their knowledge base and expertise. Keeping this in view, the Cell invites resource persons and experts from different fields such as industries, business houses, academic and research institutions and commercial establishments to deliver lectures on the scope and market demand with regard to jobs in various sectors.

The Cell provides latest information on job opportunities by posting brochures and advertisements on the boards specified for the purpose in the Cell. The students go through these documents and make discussions with the professors-in-charge of the Cell for further course of action.
